The state of Goa is located
on the Western coast of India and is known for
its scenic beauty, architecture and rich cultural
history.
There are fine beaches and pretty natural inland
scenery, popular with travellers and more recently
property buyers. Up until 1961 Goa was a Portuguese
settlement and had been for 450 years. Goa is
situated 350 miles South of Bombay and has an
international airport.
The fine food, including an abundance of seafood,
good weather, friendly people and such a mix of
cultures and religions are just some of the reasons
people are attracted to Goa.
Buying a property here is becoming increasing
popular with prices starting at £10,000
for a studio apartment, up to approx £110,000
to buy a three bedroom detached duplex.
The property market, including rental potential,
is not sophisticated but this may just be an excellent
holiday home for incredible value.
