Philippines - A cultural mix in tropical surroundings
Consisting of over 7,000
islands and with an incredible variety of scenery
and cultures, the Philippines is relatively undiscovered
by British travellers and property buyers.
Located in the South China Sea there are fantastic
beaches, crystal clear waters with some of the
best snorkelling and dive sites in the world.
It has a tropical climate and friendly people,
many of who speak good English, due partly to
American influence.
The busy capital Manila captures the mixture
of East and West that is distinctive in Filipino
culture and property here is reasonably priced
compared with other far eastern capitals. There
are a number of popular resort areas including
the islands of Boracay and Cebu.
Buying property here is possible and investment
from overseas is growing, especially in the resort
areas and Manila itself where rental potential
is good. A growing market that we can cater for
are Filipino people working here in the UK (nurses
etc) who wish to invest in real estate back home.
