Since May 2004 Hungary has
been a part of the EU and as such interest has
grown in foreigners buying properties here, for

The British are buying property across the nation,
but interest is focused on Budapest especially
on the side of the River Danube. This Historic
and picturesque city is rich in culture and home
to events and a strong social scene.

private buyer, but more if bought as a Hungarian
Limited company.
The seasons here are defined, with a warm long
summer, and cold, often snow capped, winter. Budapest
is an extremely popular tourist destination and
can get very busy during the summer and rent potential
is high for property in the right area.
Property prices present good value here and the
expectation is that they will continue to rise
as the country’s popularity increases amongst
tourists and investors.
