Dubai Central Airport Will Begin Passenger Flights Later This Year.

Passengers will be able to check in from October this year.

Wizz Air will offer easy connections between Europe and Dubai by providing non-stop services linking Dubai World Central to Central and Eastern Europe.

The Saudi airline, Nasair will provide strong links between Dubai and Saudi Arabia and will operate over 50 flights between Dubai and a variety of destinations in Saudi Arabia.

The world central airport has operated a cargo service since June 2010, with a reported 16,000 plus aircraft movements to and from the airport in 2012.

Over the upcoming months, trials will take place at the airport to ensure the site is ready for lift-off on October 27th, when passengers will travel from the airport for the very first time.

The international airport will ultimately become the world’s largest airport with five runways and an eventual capacity of 160 million passengers.

The launch airlines-Wizz Air and Nasair will hopefully be joined by additional airlines and services in time for opening.
