Event Review: Cityscape Abu Dhabi, April 2016

The annual Cityscape Abu Dhabi event at the National Exhibition Centre is always a key part of Knight Knox’s event calendar, and this year’s exhibition did not disappoint. Our headquarters in Manchester, UK, make it difficult to connect face-to-face with our international clients, which is why Cityscape Abu Dhabi is always an important event to connect with both experienced investors looking to extend their portfolio and those new to the property investment landscape.

“At Knight Knox we always find Cityscape Abu Dhabi to be a very worthwhile event,” says Knight Knox Business Development Manager Andrew Brassey. “It is a fantastic chance to meet knowledgeable investors looking for the best buy-to-let opportunities – both first time investors new to Knight Knox and existing clients with whom we already enjoy strong relationships. The extremely high demand for investment advice at Cityscape keeps us very busy. Following the success of this show, Knight Knox will be back in the Middle East at Cityscape Qatar on the 26th April, and are looking forward to meeting more investors!”

Situated on a busy thoroughfare, the Knight Knox team were constantly busy with people looking for market-leading investment opportunities and advice at the three-day event. As one of the few stands at the show concentrating on UK property rather than the Middle East, Knight Knox was in high demand among investors. As well as expert advice from our team of property consultants, visitors were able to take advantage of our range of free literature. Our Buy-To-Let Guide proved incredible popular and various editions of our worldwide property investment magazine, Global Property Scene, were eagerly snapped up by investors.

As talk of a cooldown in London’s luxury property market continues to grow, it is interesting to note that property in the UK regions is becoming a more and more significant and realistic option for foreign investors. Cities such as Leeds and Liverpool are establishing themselves in the consciousness of buy-to-let investors the world over and more well known cities like Manchester continue to go from strength to strength. The high yields and bright future on offer in these cities is attracting interest North away from the capital. Developments such as X1 The Gateway and Mulberry Place in Manchester proved particularly popular.

Cityscape Abu Dhabi was a huge success for Knight Knox and our investors. We are eagerly awaiting our return to the Middle East at Cityscape Qatar from the 16th-28th April 2016. If you would like to join us there please get in touch and request tickets!
