A royal opening by His Highness Sheikh Maktoum Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, ruler of Dubai, gives an impression of the incredible stature of this exhibition, which doubled its attendance figures this year, making it one of the busiest overseas exhibitions we have ever attended.

Having sold out exhibition space six weeks ahead of the opening day of the show, despite increasing the floor size by 50% to spread throughout six halls, the exhibition’s growing popularity amongst both exhibitors and visitors, mirrors the sentiment of Dubai investors who are investing heavily overseas and locally.

The international exhibitions team exhibited two of our hottest investment opportunities at the show, including student buy-to-let development, All Saints in Sunderland and Liverpool residential development, X1 The Quarter, which were received particularly well by investors who attended the show, while other investors showed an interest in our diverse overseas portfolio, with Thai development ‘The Maldives’ holding the eye of investors.

Our stand was located in a great position at the main hall entrance and was visible from two large corridors, allowing us to draw a heavy footfall which resulted in us receiving a record number of enquires totalling at 133, which have already produced a sale, while our UK-based office are still discussing investment options with visitors from the show.

We held a large number of positive meetings with investors both those who had arranged meetings with us before the show, and those who instantly recognised our branding on entry at the show. The head of our agents’ network, Andrew Brassey, was also in attendance and made strong connections with a good number of potential sub agents.

We have already made the decision to book stands for next year’s show and we look forward to seeing everyone there.
