With property prices annually plunging by around 10% in the Netherlands, many Dutch investors at the show expressed a desire to invest in UK property, where rents this August were only £1 behind the all-time record, set in October 2012, according to the LSL buy-to-let index.
The stands at the exhibition were mainly manned by developers and local agents, who were mainly exhibiting properties in Spain, allowing us to stand out even further, as the only exhibitors showcasing credible alternatives outside of the Spanish market, ensuring that those who desired to invest in the UK and other overseas properties came to discuss their options with us.
At the show, we were mainly promoting our buy-to-let investment opportunities, of which X1 Town Hall and X1 The Quarter received the most interest, with many of the exhibition’s visitors having studied at universities in the thriving cities of Manchester and Liverpool. Our international exhibitions team also presented student opportunity, All Saints – Sunderland, in addition to receiving a number of particularly strong enquiries regarding our properties in the Costa Blanca and Costa Del Sol.
Consistent attendance of overseas exhibitions has become a top priority at Knight Knox International, in order to both build relationships with clients outside of the UK and to promote our brand. This event proved us to that we were achieving this goal with a number of Dutch investors enquiring at our stand purely because they recognised the Knight Knox International brand.
Resounding successes such as this event at Utrecht, which was extremely positive in terms of both branding and the number of enquiries, ensure that we desire to continue our consistent attendance of overseas exhibitions.
