We at Knight Knox have always been strong supporters of the Property Investor and Homebuyer Show, having attended twice a year for the past six years, and this April’s exhibition was arguably one of the most exciting to date. As the UK property market continues to grow in strength, the number of serious investors attending the event was far higher than last year, and our Knight Knox stand saw almost unparalleled interest from investors seeking property outside of London, in search of the higher yields and capital appreciation that regional property brings.
Alongside our new stand, one of the most popular features for Knight Knox was the metre high model of one of our flagship developments; X1 Media City. Harking back to the flamboyant marketing events pre-1997, the fully lit replica of all four iconic towers was an instant hit with the public, providing a talking point for investors and becoming a focal point at the entrance to the show.
Having exhibited at property shows for many years now, we understand that talking face to face to investors provides an invaluable opportunity for them to really get to know the different developments in our portfolio, and to help find the perfect property for them to invest into.
James Morris, property consultant at Knight Knox, was extremely enthusiastic about how well the whole event went: “I experienced my first investment show in London at the ExCeL Arena. It was a huge success for myself personally and Knight Knox. The venue was packed with keen investors and had a buzzing atmosphere, I can’t wait for the 2016 show already!”
Part of the reason The Property Investor and Homebuyer Show was such a success was because of its focus on regional investment. Following a number of seminars and talks about why Manchester is such a lucrative investment, the traffic to our stand increased even more. Knight Knox International has always championed regional locations, with 51 developments launched across the country outside of London. Our company has always had a definite focus on Manchester, Salford and Liverpool, because of the high yields and under supplied markets found there. With so much negative news about the property market in London spiralling out of control, these Northern cities offer steady and reliable growth.
Another of our most successful property consultants, Alex Povey, noted how “The Investor Show echoed the renewed confidence in the UK’s property market and there was a real buzz amongst the investors who attended over the weekend.”
Knight Knox success over the weekend at the Property Investor Show proved the importance of these exhibitions. Going forward, we are excited to see how the new attention Manchester is currently gaining will propel the city’s property market.
