Knight Knox International Confirms Attendance at Autumn Property Shows

Property Investor & Homebuyer Show, April 2014

  • From the 3rd-5th of October in Birmingham, Knight Knox International will showcase a wide range of UK and overseas properties at A Place in the Sun Live
  • From the 10th-11th of October in London, Knight Knox International will showcase high-yielding student and new-build buy-to-let properties at The Property Investor and Homebuyer Show

October is always an exciting month in the property calendar, with the two most important UK property exhibitions occurring immediately after each other. Knight Knox International is proud to be in attendance at both shows, accompanied by their extensive portfolio showcasing some of their most lucrative buy-to-let and student accommodation developments, in addition to a range of overseas investment options.

A Place in the Sun Live’, at the NEC Birmingham from the 3rd-5th of October, and the ‘Property Investor and Homebuyer Show’ at the ExCeL centre in London from the 10th-11th, have been in operation for over 10 and 12 years respectively, and in that time have proven themselves to be ‘must attends’ for anyone serious about the property industry. These extremely popular exhibitions offer the public the chance to meet the experts, and browse a wide range of properties to suit all investment requirements.

In the past twelve months alone, Knight Knox International has attended 26 shows around the globe, selling Sheffield student accommodation in Sydney, and Liverpool buy-to-let apartments in Beijing. As a company, Knight Knox has always seen great value in these exhibitions, due to the opportunity they present to meet with potential investors face-to-face.

Buy-to-let property has never been a more popular investment. House prices are continuing to soar, meaning that more and more people are being forced into the private rented sector, where rental returns are growing steadily, particularly in the North West, which has seen annual rental returns of 7.1%—higher than anywhere else in the country.

With a strong portfolio of completed projects to their name, Knight Knox International will this year be showcasing their current buy-to-let investments at both events, including X1 Eastbank, a 111-apartment new-build development in Manchester city centre, and X1 The Studios in Liverpool, a project currently in construction and offering assured net rental yields for five years.

Based on the highly popular TV show, A Place in the Sun Live is the perfect opportunity to find a property either at home or away. Knight Knox International has attended the show since it first began, and is always proud to be in attendance. Now the show is proud to call itself the “largest and best attended overseas property exhibition”, which saw over 6,000 visitors at the March event at London Olympia earlier this year.

The Property Investor and Homebuyer Show, taking place a week later, is another exciting networking opportunity for Knight Knox International. Regarding the April 2014 exhibition, the show’s director Mike Doyle not only commented on the growing confidence but also that “footfall and attendance at seminar sessions showed year-on-year growth too.”

This year, Knight Knox is proud to showcase their growing student accommodation portfolio, consisting of such highly sought-after developments like Burgess House in Newcastle, Chronicle House in Chester and Sovereign House in Sheffield. Investments made into student accommodation are often seen as both safe and highly profitable. The fact is that students will always need accommodation, so the sector is not dictated by the fluctuations of the housing market. Property experts Knight Frank even calculated in their 2014 Student Property Report that “the student accommodation sector has produced positive rental growth throughout every year of the economic downturn”. Leeds, Chester and Sheffield are three university cities that exemplify the UK’s chronic lack of purpose built accommodation, and with prices starting at £64,995 for Chronicle House, £59,995 for Sovereign House and £100,000 for East Point, it’s easy to begin investing into the market before demand is met.
