Knight Knox International is RESI finalist

The RESI awards, some of the most revered in the property world, have announced their 2015 shortlist and Knight Knox International is in the running for ‘Residential Investment Agency of the Year’.

Knight Knox International is RESI finalist

Knight Knox International is competing against Knight Frank, Savills and (last year’s winners) CBRE for this prestigious award. These other global real estate companies are tough competition given their sizes- all own multiple offices around the world, deal in hundreds of billions of pounds per year and employ 91,000 between them. To be shortlisted in this category shows how the RESI awards recognises Knight Knox International’s impressive record-breaking year in 2014, and is able to compete against these property giants.

“Less than 12 months later, the company is looking to expand again.”

2014 saw Knight Knox International’s 10 year anniversary with the company now employing over 40 members of staff spread over both sales and ancillary departments. Last year also saw the business move offices to Quay West in MediaCityUK, one of the most thriving business hubs in Europe and home to the BBC and ITV. Less than 12 months later, the company is looking to expand again, taking up another floor of the striking building to accommodate its growing team. Knight Knox International was also proud to receive the Investors in People Award in October 2014. This is a prestigious, world-renowned award which celebrates the company’s commitment to its employees.

Another milestone Knight Knox International has recently surpassed is the release of its 50th development. From Glasgow to Plymouth Knight Knox has always championed the success of regional locations. The company has no London developments, instead preferring to offer the higher yields, and more stable markets of local cities Manchester and Salford.

Business wise, Knight Knox is thriving and the last twelve months have seen the launches of two of its biggest developments to date: X1 Media City and Adelphi Wharf. These two developments will comprise of over 1500 apartments between them, and have total costs exceeding £275 million.

“We are excited about what the next 10 will bring.”

Knight Knox International’s head of marketing, Samantha Jones said: “We are delighted to be nominated for this RESI award, it truly reflects the hard work and dedication the Knight Knox team has put into the business over the past 10 years and we are excited about what the next 10 will bring.”

In the four years the RESI awards have been running, they have developed a strong reputation and are described as the “key celebratory and networking event for the residential sector”. These awards are dedicated to celebrating the best of the residential property market and the judges will look back over the successes of the past twelve months to decide the winners.

The 2015 RESI awards will take place on the 13th of May 2015. Knight Knox is thrilled to have been nominated for such a prestigious award and has the highest hopes that their commitment to regional locations, the growth the company has seen, and the numerous landmarks reached in the last twelve months will result in the title of ‘Knight Knox International: Residential Investment Agency of the Year’.
