All 29 apartments at Bells Court – the £2.2 million development located on Bailey Street, just a five-minute walk from the centre – have been sold following the development’s recent launch.
Due for completion in summer 2016, the two-storey, 9,500 sq ft urban warehouse block is set to include secure bicycle storage, an on-site laundry facility and a central courtyard garden.
Andy Phillips, commercial director at Knight Knox, said: “Completely selling out Bells Court so quickly is a testament to the increasing attractiveness of Sheffield as a place to invest. There are great plans afoot for the area as the population continues to grow, and we’re delighted to be a part of it.
“Bells Court is a really unique, bespoke development of studio apartments which perfectly balances modern fixtures and fittings with the original period features of the building, and will make a valuable contribution to our extensive portfolio of premium residential property.”
The scheme will be let and managed in its entirety by Intus Lettings, while Crossbow Ventures Ltd will act as developer for the multi-million pound scheme. Previous successful schemes in collaboration with Crossbow include Dunfields, an 82-unit student property that is currently 100% let, and Bento – a £2.2m bespoke townhouse scheme currently available through Knight Knox.
It’s a really exciting time for the Yorkshire property scene!
Knight Knox’s success in Sheffield comes as part of increased activity within the greater Yorkshire area, with the property company having recently launched plans for a £19 million, 13-storey development in Leeds.
X1 Aire, which is based on East Street on the River Aire, will comprise 147 one- and two-bedroom apartments, including five luxury penthouses, and is due for completion in April 2017.
Andy added: “It’s a really exciting time for the Yorkshire property scene. With the recent announcement of a national rise in private housing rental prices, we’re seeing a surge in demand from investors seeking premium properties, with cities such as Leeds and Sheffield proving particularly popular.”
